AHS VEX Robotics

Mission

Our branch mission is to create a hub for robotics at American High School. We want to give all the students an equal opportunity to explore, create, and innovate using robotics technology. Together, we want to build robots that not only compete but inspire a passion and provide an outlet for STEM.

Activities

• FLEX Workshops for CAD, Manufacturing, and more
• Hackathons
• Creating a hub at AHS for Engineering

Impacts and Awards

• Both Teams, Thing One and Thing Two, qualified for State Championships in 2024
• Thing Two qualified for World Championships in 2024
• Opened up a training team, Thing Three, to give all the other branch members experience in robotics as well
